Job Details
- Coordinate resolution of issues with outsourced support companies related to:
- WIFI and wired computer network (currently managed by Kite Technology)
- ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution. Currently IDS, this system supports:
- Inventory – (Purchasing, Receiving, Warehousing)
- Accounts Payable
- Sales Order Entry (Invoicing)
- Customer Accounts Receivable
- General Ledger Accounting
- Remote sales order entry software (ZiiZii)
- Picking, Receiving, and cigarette stamping software applications (ProCat’s PickRight, ReceiveRight, and TaxRight)
- Transportation Routing software (from Roadnet)
- Develop and maintain data queries of the company data base to support management in:
- Evaluating Sales performance
- Satisfying Customer requests for reports
- Evaluating Inventory
- Evaluating Operational performance
- Coordinating change requests from in-house staff with outside programmers
- Schedule – Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and On-Call for nightshift support
Requirements
- College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 3 – 5 years computer application support
- IBM I-series (AS/400)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong working knowledge of networks
- Experience in wholesale distribution a plus
